This page contains videos and instructions for the 2022 Plant Project for DDI VANTAGE Early Head Start. We are experimenting with growing lettuce in a container inside and outside, with the goal of eating our own salad by late May or early June.

Step 1: plant your seeds

Step 2: Keep the soil wet until your seeds come up

Step 3: Move your pot outside. Bring it inside if the weater is below 34 degrees.

A video showing lettuce on week 3 of growing: 4/11/2022. The weather is supposed to get to 25 degrees tonight, which will kill the plants, so bring them inside!
